OUR SERVICES

At Travis Hendrix Insurance, we realize life and health insurance is not a one size fits all situation. What is good for a family of 4 with young children may not be right for a senior couple who is enjoying their retirement years. So we work with many different companies so that we are able to take care of your needs, regardless of what part of your life you are in. We specialize in the following areas:

Medicare

Medicare can be a confusing subject for many, but it doesn't have to be. Here at Travis Hendrix Insurance we pride ourselves in not only pairing our clients with the perfect plan, but also helping to educate them so they know what they have. Whether you are interested in Medicare Supplement plans, or Medicare Advantage plans, we will be able to guide you and give you the tools to use when selecting a plan.

Final Expense

Nobody wants to leave their loved ones the burden of paying for their funeral. A final expense policy is ideal for taking care of this for you. Some of the benefits of a final expense policy:

- Easier to qualify

- Permanent coverage

- Premium doesn't go up

These policies typically have lower death benefits, as low as $1,500 up to $50,000, making them more affordable especially on a fixed income, which a lot of seniors are on.

Term Life Insurance

On the other end, if you are looking for coverage to help your family if you pass away, such as paying off your house or paying college tuition for you children, you may need more than what a final expense policy will give you.

That is where a term policy may be a better fit, larger death benefits for lower monthly premiums. Although this policy will not last forever (terms typically last 10, 20, or 30 years, although there are other lengths available), it will be there for your family when they need it most.

In addition, there are additional benefits that can be added to your term insurance, including:

- Return of Premium - that's right, at the end of the term, you will get beck ALL of the premiums you have paid

- Guaranteed Premium Payments - if you become disabled your premiums will be made for you.

- Terminal Illness Benefit - If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness, you are able to collect a portion of the death benefit to make lasting memories with your family.

Health Insurance

While many Americans get their health insurance though the company that they work for, many do not have that option available. They also think that getting health insurance is too expensive, so they decide not to get any at all.

It doesn't have to be too expensive. We work with plans all over the country, and there are options for just about everybody. After going through yours and your family's health needs, we will do everything we can to find a plan that takes care of everybody.

Ancillary Coverage

There are many other types of insurances to protect you and your family. Some of them include:

- Dental/Vision Packages

Even if you don't have health insurance, you can purchase dental and vision coverage separately

- Cancer Coverage

Almost 40% of Americans will get some type of cancer in their lifetime. Not all treatments are covered by health insurance, so you would be out of pocket. Typically cancer plan premiums are less than your Netflix bill every month, so reach out so we can discuss your options.

- Hospital Indemnity Plans

Medicare Advantage plans helps tremendously when dealing with doctor's and hospital's bills, but there are still some gaps if you are ever hospitalized or have to have surgery. Hospital Indemnity Plans (HIP) help cover some of these gaps, and once again for less than you spend on Netflix each month.

Home Health Care

We all like to believe that we will be there to take care of our loved ones as they get older, whether it is our parents, or our spouse, or anybody else we care about.

Unfortunately, it is tough to be there full time while taking care of our other responsibilities, and most of us are not trained in how to take care of a senior.

Fortunately, home health care plans are set up to have someone come and assist, whether it be physical therapy, checking vitals, bathing, dressing, etc.

The best thing about these plans is they get a prescription drug rebate, up to $600/year, which pays for most if not all of your monthly premium!
